POBLACION, SAN ISIDRO – On Friday, March 9, 2018, the National Irrigation Administration Regional Office 7, through the Bohol Irrigation Management Office formally turned over the operation and maintenance of the newly completed Cansague Sur (Masunoy) Small Irrigation System (SIS) to its beneficiary, the Poblacion – Masunoy Irrigators Association Inc. of Barangay Poblacion and Masunoy, San Isidro, Bohol, headed by its president Sabino G. Orbuda for them to handle the operation and maintenance of the said irrigation system.

DAO TAGBILARAN CITY – On Thursday, March 1, 2018, San Miguel Municipal Mayor Nunita M. Pinat, Municipal officials, and members of the Sanguniang Bayan visited the National Irrigation Administration Region 7 Regional Manager Modesto G. Membreve to formally discuss the proposed San Miguel Agri-Eco Cultural Tourism Development Project that will boost the tourism and economy of San Miguel Bohol.  

During the 2 hours closed door meeting, Mayor Pinat discussed to RM Membreve the proposed Agri-Eco Tourism project that will be constructed and developed in Bayongan Dam.

CAMAYAAN LOBOC – On Friday, February 23, 2018, the National Irrigation Administration Regional Office 7, through the Bohol Irrigation Management Office formally turned over the operation and maintenance of the newly accomplished rehabilitation project of Loboc Integrated (Basak Daku) Communal Irrigation System (CIS) to its beneficiaries, the Basak Daku Irrigators Association Inc. of Barangay Camayaan, Loboc Bohol, headed by its president Arniel E. Araneta for them to handle the operation and maintenance of the said irrigation system.

Bayawan, Negros Oriental – The National Irrigation Administration Administrator (NIA) Region 7 Manager Modesto G. Membreve have high hopes on the proposed Multi-purpose Irrigation Project in Bayawan Negros Oriental to materialize, this was after his positive observation on the initial inspection he personally conducted on the site wherein the project supposed to be situated and the surrounding area which will benefit after the realization of the project.
