REINFORCING CORE VALUES TO STRENGTHEN INTEGRITY AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

June 17, 2025

In a continuing effort to promote moral integrity, ethical leadership, and social responsibility among its personnel, the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Bohol-Siquijor Irrigation Management Office (IMO) conducted a Values Restoration Seminar on June 5,2025 at Tuburan 360, Cebu.

The seminar was facilitated by distinguished motivational speakers and educators, Dr. Ireneo P. Leuterio and Ms. Josephine Leuterio. Their lectures and dynamic activities aimed to rekindle the participants' awareness of personal values and strengthen their ethical consciousness as public servants.

Participants engaged in a series of reflective and interactive activities that focused on core values such as integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and faith. Team-building games promoted collaboration, trust, and effective communication, reinforcing the importance of unity and shared purpose in achieving collective goals.

Self-enlightenment sessions encouraged participants to assess their attitudes, motivations, and behaviors. Guided reflections prompted individuals to examine their choices and realign their personal values with their professional responsibilities. These powerful moments of introspection fostered deeper moral awareness and a renewed sense of purpose.

The event also became a space for emotional honesty and healing. Participants openly shared personal stories—some tearful, others humorous—creating a supportive atmosphere of empathy and authenticity. Many were moved by the courage and sincerity of their colleagues, finding strength in shared experiences.

By the end of the seminar, participants left with not just renewed spirits but also a strengthened commitment to ethical service and public accountability—an affirmation that true transformation begins with restoring one’s core values.
