NOSO, STRONGER TOGETHER: BUILDING MORE THAN JUST A TEAM

June 18, 2025

To strengthen unity and collaboration, the National Irrigation Administration – Negros Oriental Satellite Office (NIA-NOSO) held a Team Dynamics Activity on June 5, 2025, with the theme “Stronger Together: Building More than Just a Team.”

The one-day activity was divided into two parts: a morning training session held at the NOSO Function Hall, and an afternoon team-building program at The Barn in Mango Ranch, Valencia, Negros Oriental.

The morning session centered on understanding the roles and responsibilities of each employee within the organization. Ms. Maria Fe D. Eurango, Chief of the Administrative and Finance Section, led a comprehensive lecture highlighting NOSO’s organizational structure and the essential roles that contribute to fulfilling NIA’s overall mandate.

She provided an insightful discussion on NIA’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values, emphasizing the importance of aligning personal goals with institutional objectives, fostering a deeper sense of purpose among the employees.

The participants actively engaged in the session—asking questions, sharing insights, and reflecting on their responsibilities—showcasing a collective desire to grow in their roles and contribute more effectively to the agency.

In the afternoon, a series of structured team-building games and collaborative exercises were done. These activities were designed to enhance interpersonal communication, strengthen collaboration, improve problem-solving and trust-building skills, and create a fun and meaningful learning environment.

The team-building challenges sparked energy and camaraderie, reinforcing the importance of working together toward shared goals. Employees from different sections joined forces to overcome obstacles.

Through this initiative, NIA-NOSO reaffirmed its commitment to a collaborative and purpose-driven work culture for better service delivery and community impact.
