CALAPE - Construction on a long-awaited new Calunasan Small Reservoir Irrigation Project is now fast-underway, and its completion for the tiny grassroots of the beneficiaries behind the project. "It's taken a long time to get it started, but now this is the moment that we are all waiting for," Regional Manager Modesto G. Membreve said.

The National Irrigation Administration Region 7 hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on February 7 to mark the beginning of the most awaited Calunasan SRIP for the Calunasan Dam Calunasan Calape, Bohol.

PAMACSALAN, PILAR –The National Irrigation Administration Regional Office 7 (NIA R-7), through the Bohol Irrigation Management Office (IMO) formally turned over on Friday, July 6, 2018, the newly completed Kubi Small Irrigation Project (SIP) to its beneficiary.

The beneficiary is the Pilar Kubi Irrigators Association Inc. of Barangays Pamacsalan, Anibongan, Aurora and Lumbay, Pilar, Bohol, headed by its president Epipfanio B. Pojas for them to handle the operation and maintenance of the said irrigation system.

NIA R-7 conveys operation of Union PIP to IA

CAMOTES ISLAND, CEBU –The National Irrigation Administration Regional Office 7 (NIA R-7), through the Cebu Irrigation Management Office (IMO) formally turned over on Thursday, July 19, 2018 the newly completed Union Pump Irrigation Project (PIP) to its beneficiary.

The beneficiary is the Mag-uuma sa Union Irrigators Association Inc. of Barangay Union, San Francisco, Camotes Island, Cebu, headed by its president Bienvenida C. Torres for them to handle the operation and maintenance of the said irrigation system.

NIA CARP-IC evaluates Kawasan-Cayacay nominee as outstanding IA

ALICIA, BOHOL – On Tuesday, June 5, 2018, CARP-IC Project Manager Delsy J. Revellame, together with the CARP-IC PMO staffs, Engr.  Concepcion C. Cablayan, Engr. Rolando De La Cruz, and Engr. Leopoldo Tamulang visited and evaluated the Kawasan-Cayacay Irrigators Association of Alicia, Bohol.

The ocular inspection and evaluation was conducted by the CARP-IC delegates pursuant to the nomination of the Kawasan-Cayacay Irrigators Association as one of the top 15 finalists for the Search for the Most Oustanding CARP Irrigators Association for CY 2017.

The Kawasan-Cayacay IA is one of the few 15 finalists for the search for outstanding CARP IA from among the more than 2,200 CARP IAs all over the Philippines.

The beneficiary is the Trabajo Mas-ing Irrigators Association Inc. of Barangay Montesuerte, Carmen, Bohol, headed by its president Victor B. Cahig for them to handle the operation and maintenance of the said irrigation system.

Salces for them to handle the operation and maintenance of the said irrigation system.

LANTANG, VALENCIA – On Thursday, March 22, 2018, the National Irrigation Administration Regional Office 7, through the Bohol Irrigation Management Office formally turned over the newly completed Lantang Communal Irrigation Project (CIP) to its beneficiary, the Lantang Binaliwan Rice Farmers Irrigators Association Inc. of Lantang, Valencia, Bohol, headed by its president Sergio Tangaan Jr. for them to handle the operation and maintenance of the said irrigation system.

The turnover ceremony began at around 9:30 in the morning and was attended by the NIA R-7 Planning, Construction & Design head Engr. Nelson Doliente, IMO personnel, IA officers, 2nd Dist. Cong. Yap’s representative – Melona Dejaro, Gov. Chatto’s representative -  and Barangay officials.
