In culmination of National Women’s Month, NIA Region 7 conducts a Seminar on Digital Parenting and Responsible Internet Usage for Women and Everyone on March 30, 2023, at NIA Covered Court, Tagbilaran City, Bohol.
With the theme: “DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality”, the agency invited speakers from the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), the primary entity that plans, develops, and promotes the Philippine ICT development agenda.
Mr. Victor A. Magalles - ITO 1 of DICT Bohol Provincial Office gave an overview of DICT's offered services and discussed Responsible and Effective Parenting in the Digital Age.
NIA R7 SEEKS MORE CONVERGENCE PROJECTS WITH DPWH 7

CEBU CITY | National Irrigation Administration Region 7 Regional Manager Engr. Reyne B. Ugay meets with DPWH Region VII Regional Director Engr. Ernesto S. Gregorio, Jr. on Tuesday to discuss more potential convergence of the two agencies.
This is in accordance with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s mandate for NIA and DPWH to work together and speed up the implementation of high-impact irrigation projects to increase the country's agricultural productivity.
NIA is eyeing to avail DPWH's funds allocated for convergence projects with other agencies.
NIA Region VII proposes to work with DPWH VII on its irrigation drainage facilities, slope protection works, and sabo dams.
BIIS GOES DIGITALL: INNOVATION & TECHNOLOGY FOR GENDER EQUALITY

In celebration of National Women’s Month, NIA Region VII Bohol Integrated Irrigation System (BIIS) conducts Seminar on Digital Parenting and Internet Essentials for Women and Everyone today at Malinao Farmer’s Hall, Pilar, Bohol.
Resource speakers from the DICT Bohol Provincial Office Engr. Jimmy Ratilla and Mr. Victor A. Magallanes discussed topics that fit the 2023 Women's Month theme: “DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality”.
DICT Officers gave an overview of the services they offer, the Sim Card Registration Act, the National Government Portal, the rights of women and everyone in technology and Innovation, the Data Privacy Act, and ways to protect one's personal information on the internet.
ARTICLE WRITING & PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT OF IDP IMPLEMENTERS

National Irrigation Administration Region VII Irrigators Development Officers (IDOs) from all over Central Visayas take on Article Writing and Public Speaking Training on March 21-22, 2023 at Cebu City.
This activity aims to sharpen IDOs' strategies to be more informative, persuasive, and motivating in reporting their Accomplishments in the implementation of the agency's Institutional Development Programs (IDPs).
As NIA's workforce for farmers' economic life upliftment, the IDOs' accomplishments in implementing the IDPs are a vital contribution to NIA's overall performance.
