NIA Region VII Acting Regional Manager Engr. Antonio B. Gujeling dedicated this day to meeting with farmers from Sudlon II, Cebu City on January 29, 2024.
In a move to strengthen support for local farmers, he visited members of the Proper Sudlon II Irrigators' Association (IA) and the Upper Sudlon (IA). In their discussion Engr. Gujeling underscored the significance of adopting innovative farming technologies to drive growth and increase earnings.
Engr. Gujeling committed to strengthen collaboration between other government agencies, such as the Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PhilMech) and the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), to provide farmers with access to vital programs and services.
By fostering these partnerships, NIA aims to bridge the gap between the government and local farmers, ultimately enhancing their productivity and income.
