In a move to strengthen support for local farmers, he visited members of the Proper Sudlon II Irrigators' Association (IA) and the Upper Sudlon (IA). In their discussion Engr. Gujeling underscored the significance of adopting innovative farming technologies to drive growth and increase earnings.

Engr. Gujeling committed to strengthen collaboration between other government agencies, such as the Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PhilMech) and the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), to provide farmers with access to vital programs and services.

By fostering these partnerships, NIA aims to bridge the gap between the government and local farmers, ultimately enhancing their productivity and income.

As host office this month, the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Region VII's Acting Regional Manager Engr. Antonio B. Gujeling welcomed esteemed directors, managers, and members of the RMC, as well as distinguished guests, to the gathering.

The RMC was led by Chairperson, Regional Executive Director of the Department of Agriculture- Region VII, Director Angel C. Enriques.

Tagbilaran City, Bohol | The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Region VII held a seminar today, January 27, 2024, focusing on liver cancer and viral hepatitis awareness and prevention, aimed at educating employees about these life-threatening conditions.

The initiative underscored the agency’s commitment to the health and safety of its workforce, in collaboration with the Department of Health (DOH) and the medical experts of Governor Celestino Gallares Memorial Medical Center (GCGMMC).

IAS STARTS MANAGEMENT AUDIT IN NIA REGION VII TODAY

The Internal Audit Services (IAS) conducted an Entry Conference for the Management Audit in NIA Region VII today, January 27, 2024 at the NIA R7 CVTC in Dao, Tagbilaran City.

The audit, which is set to run until February 13, 2024, will focus on Property Management, Procurement, and Recruitment and Selection Processes.

The audit will begin with a comprehensive review of the Regional Office, followed by audits of the Bohol-Cebu-Siquijor Irrigation Management Offices (IMO) and the Negros Oriental Satellite Office (NOSO).

Led by Team Leader Melvincent C. Cablayan, Sr. Internal Control Officer A, the audit aims to assess and improve operational efficiency, transparency, and adherence to regulations across these key areas.
