Two Communal Irrigation Projects (CIP) funded by the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program- Irrigation Component (CARP-IC) were turned over to Agrarian Refrom Communities in Loboc, Bohol on April 20, 2023.
Tingiw-Bahi-an CIP was officially turned over to Bahian Irrigators' Association Inc. benefitting 14 Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) and 7 non-ARBs, irrigating 8 hectares of farmland in Barangay Bahi-an.
While, Pangas-Quinoguitan CIP, which will irrigate 8 hectares of service area for 19 ARBs in Brgy. Quinoguitan, Loboc, was turned over to Quinoguitan Farmers Irrigators'Association, Inc.
The ceremonial turnover of the said projects was held at Quinoguitan Covered Court, Loboc led by NIA CARP-IC PMO Project Manager Engr. Wilhelm S. Tiangco and DAR- Bohol Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II Ronald I. Pumatong.
Both projects are worth P4 Million pesos each funded by Department of Agrarian Reform, and constructed by the National Irrigation Administration.
