TAGBILARAN CITY- To boost its employees’ immune system against Covid-19, National Irrigation Administration Region 7 Regional Office (NIA-R7 RO) distributed 120 boxes of Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid with Zinc), today.
NIA R7 does not take the threat of Covid-19 lightly hence, they allotted 100 capsules of vitamins per employee to make sure each has access to such supplement that will last them three months if taken daily.
According to the World Health Organization, micronutrients such as Vitamin C, are critical for a well-functioning immune system and play an important role in promoting health and nutritional well-being.
The NIA R7 Senior Industrial Nurse, Ms. Gretchen I. Hilot, then distributed the boxes of vitamins to all the divisions of the RO while updating the list of NIA R7’s vaccinated employees.
Many of NIA R7’s employees have been fully vaccinated through the recent vaccination programs offered by the Tagbilaran City Government and the Provincial Government of Bohol.
