The National Irrigation Administration Employees Association of the Philippines (NIAEASP) marks its 35th Founding Anniversary today with the theme: “Staying United and Strong for the Benefit of NIA and its Employees”.
NIA Region 7, spearheaded by Acting Regional Manager Engr. Reyne B. Ugay, began the half-day activity with a celebration of the Holy Eucharist followed by a short program participated by the employees of the Regional Office and the Bohol Irrigation Management Office.
NIAESP-7 Chapter and District President, Mrs. Elvira Alvarado emphasized during her speech that the benefits of being a member of the association also entail responsibilities.
“As our Chapter and District President I humbly urge our members to please support, cooperate with the management’s ways to fast-track project implementations and to help improve revenue generation measures” she said.
NIAEASP is a union recognized by NIA as the duly accredited sole and exclusive representative of all NIA rank and file employees whose primary objective is to protect and uphold the individual and collective rights of its members.
