The National Irrigation Administration Employees Association of the Philippines (NIAEASP) Cebu Chapter officers took oath before the Acting Regional Manager Engr. Reyne B. Ugay last February 18, 2022 in his office at NIA Cebu Compound, Banilad, Cebu City.
Newly elected President Ms. Rowena G. Encabo, an Institutional Development Officer (IDO)-A shared that concerted efforts must be given by the officers to achieve its goal of giving what’s best for all the members of NIAEASP-Cebu.
Officers themselves must be willing to serve and not be served, and their service should not only be limited for the members, but also for the members’ families, as well the community.
As the newly elected officers entrusted by the members, she shared that she will make sure they will be able to serve their purpose of being the voices and the protector of the rights of every employee of the NIA Cebu.
Ms. Encabo also sought for the cooperation of every member and assured them that their every concern is attended and listened to, as every person in the organization matters.
Meanwhile, Engr. Danilo M. Bugnos, Jr. also took oath as newly promoted Senior Engineer A. Currently, he is the Chief of Cebu Office’s Engineering Unit that supervises the Feasibility Study/Survey sub-unit, Plans and Design sub-unit, and Programming, Contract and Monitoring sub-unit.
Also present in the oath-taking ceremonies were Engr. Vilma I. Uayan, the Acting Manager of Bohol-Cebu-Siquijor IMO and Ms. Elvira H. Alvarado, NIAEASP Region 7 Chapter President.
