The past year has been undeniably tough and testing, but the resilient NIA 7 employees are determined to make this year a better one. For year 2022, all NIA 7 Employees mark their commitment to support this year's theme: "Synergy, Sustainability and Security".
In the Ushering in 2022 Ceremony simultaneously undertaken this morning in all NIA offices nationwide, all NIA Region 7 employees (Regional Office, Bohol Irrigation Management Office, Bohol Integrated Irrigation System, Cebu Office, and Negros Oriental Satellite Office included), sign their stone on the NIA 7 Accent Wall as a mark of commitment to the Agency.
As NIA 7 Acting Regional Manager Engr. Reyne B. Ugay is attending the New Year's Call at the NIA Central Office, Engr. Orencio M. Apale- Engineering and Operations Division Manager spearheaded the ceremony in the Regional Office held at the NIA 7 Covered Court together with Administrative and Finance Division Manager Marlon C. Macarayan and Bohol-Cebu-Siquijor Acting Division Manager Engr. Vilma I. Uayan.
Through the leadership of Assistant Head Engr. Nelson Miralles, the BCS-IMO Cebu Office successfully conducted their simultaneous Ushering in 2022 Ceremony in their office in Banilad, Cebu City. Negros Oriental Satellite Office headed by NOSO Head Engr. Helen T. Lacpao was also able to put up their own NIA Accent Wall in front of their office in Sibulan, Negros Oriental.
The NIA Water Accent Wall was chosen to symbolize this year's theme since 2022 is the Year of the Water Tiger. This running water is very fitting to represent National Irrigation Administration as it is the agency primary responsible for irrigation development and management in the country. The waterfall also symbolizes strength, power, inspiration, and experiences.
The stones, with the names of each employee including the bigger stones bearing the names of the Top Management Officials, reflect the synergy among the Agency's human resources. For the agency is a firm believer of teamwork, so long as we work hand-in-hand, we can achieve even bigger and greater things.
SYNERGY. SUSTAINABILITY. SECURITY. With our synergy of competencies, dedication, and cooperation, we will ensure the sustainability of our Agency in bringing the best irrigation service to our Filipino farmers. As this persists, we will continue to contribute to the attainment of food security and agricultural growth of our country.
