In its continued commitment to promote health and wellness in the workplace, the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Region VII, in partnership with Optique Fashion Optical Shop, conducted a Free Eye Examination on July 7, 2025, from 9AM to 5PM at the NIA CVTC Function Room, Dao, Tagbilaran City.
This one-day health service initiative was organized to provide employees with access to on-site eye checkups—a vital yet often overlooked aspect of personal health. The event featured a full team from Optique Fashion Optical Shop, including a licensed optometrist, optician, and sales associate, who offered professional and friendly assistance to all employees.
Participants availed of free computerized eye examinations and were also given the option to purchase complete eyeglasses, with prices starting as low as ₱999. In addition, special discounts and freebies were made available, making the experience both affordable and accessible to everyone.
With around 90 beneficiaries served, the activity proved to be a success. This partnership was instrumental in bringing this initiative to fruition, and it reflects NIA Region VII's ongoing efforts to support the well-being of its employees while fostering a healthy and productive work environment.
Through activities like this, NIA continues to uphold not only its mandate of irrigation service but also its advocacy for the overall wellness of its people—because healthy eyes lead to clearer visions and brighter futures.
